This long-standing bar and restaurant location has really been through some changes lately, but their undeniable menu is still firmly in place. A combination of American-Italian food items, you're sure to try their Reuben Sandwich made from scratch and of course, their famous Big Jim's Club. Opened up their doors in 1977, Big Jim's has done it right with decade after decade and are available for you to experience it for yourselves too. Terrific food overall here and so many standouts it's hard to name them all. But we will guarantee there is a favorite to be found for anyone and everyone. Italian wedding soup, the huge veal Parmesan sandwich, equally delightful meatball sandwich, epic lasagne, Gnocch and plenty more. In essence, the service here is nothing short of top-notch and much appreciated. We've all experience grumpy or un-attentive service and it can truly ruin a dining experience, especially considering you have to pay for that too. So it's always a blessing in disguise to find great food AND great service. Big Jim's is totally a big hit and not to be missed when in Pittsburgh.
