The best part about this established diner is that the owners and chefs that started it up literally had zero culinary experience whatsoever. It's one of those stories that show that with heart and dedication to what you believe, you can make your dreams come true and Golden State is a shining example to this day. When you truly put your heart and soul in to a passion, it will always succeed. At the Golden State, they have a great assortment of fantastic and delicious items. In our first trips here, we tended to lean towards their unforgettable Pulled Pork Sandwich as well as the Mediterranean inspired Lamb Burgers that will surely make you smile for days. When you arrive, your attention will go to the vibrant and unique counter-serve style that is a rare site these days. This is one of those spots that you'll ask yourselves why you hadn't of come earlier, it's just that good. Plenty of other things to choose from here including our previous suggestions. Items such as the Smash Burger, Pastrami Burnt Ends Sandwich, Fairfax Fried Chicken Sandwich, Fish and Chips and more. The portions here are truly perfect, prices on point and service impeccable.
