The entire menu at this restaurant is inspired by one simple fruit, the Nonni. Don't worry though, not all items on the menu contain it, so you have your choice of course. Here, you'll discover a vast assortment of great Italian classics as well as fresh Seafood caught daily for your culinary pleasure. When you visit the Italian Express Pizzeria, do try the Haddock Margarita or Eggplant Parmesan just to explore a few bites of greatness. While East Boston carries a vast array of amazing eateries, this one was perhaps one of our very favorites. We use the term was as it has indeed, closed it doors for business. early in 2021, Owners Jim Iannuzzi and Jonathan Harker made the sad announcement which truly did break our hearts. The made-to-order pizzas were easily some of the best in our lifetimes and not to mention the delicious cold and hot sub sandwiches, pasta plates and much more. From the day they opened their doors to the public in 1993, they had become world famous yet at the same time stayed true to their core beliefs and love of Italian cuisine. Without question, a five star legend that will be dearly missed by all.
