It's truly the best of the best when it comes to freshly prepared comfort foods such as his one and only, Cajun Corn Pudding, Prime Rib Po' Boy sandwiches and their Rib Plate Platter that will fill even the hungriest of customers. A diner-style joint that has a casual theme, La Pines Cafe in Slidell serves it up for lunch, dinner and our favorite - breakfast. Only the best here, and they pride themselves on staying true to only fresh ingredients and super tasty meals. They will treat you right no matter what time you arrive or which meal you decide to tackle. We have to mention and make clear, portions here are bigger than you are used to. This allows for you tome get your fill but also get your hard earned moneys worth. The service here is fantastic and each time the waitress makes us feel right at home - you get the feeling she's been there her whole life and gives you a sense of belonging when you arrive. Genuine and kind service is what it's all about here and we wish others would follow suit. Coffee here is hot and neve rending which is perfect for those whom appreciate that, especially when you come to enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast.
