With a limited number of available seating, you better get there in time to be one of the lucky 14 whom can dine at the same time. However, trust us when we tell you that it is well worth the wait for this tight space as the food is terrific. The Bacon Mac 'n' Cheese is a favorite here daily, so is the Rotisserie Chicken that is prepares fresh each day. Far better than the typical big brand name rotisserie spots you may be accustomed to. But, it's once again our sad duty to report that this spot has closed it's doors back in May of 2016. This popular Court Square eatery had been in service for nearly two decades and we can proudly say that we had the opportunity to dine here several times. Each and every dining experience here was always top notch and we're are truly saddened it will no longer be here when we swing by Long Island City. Leslie Nilsson was very thankful for her chance to serve the neighborhood for 18 years, but due to lease renewal issues, had to close up shop for good. This spot was famous for it's drive to use locally sourced ingredients providing one of the first true genuine farm-to-table experiences in the Nation. While she continues to pursue her culinary passion through her catering business, this storefront is no longer open for business. There was so much here to fill one up including their Steak and Kale, the Big Mess Sandwich, Burger with Fries set a new standard and of course the many drinks and cocktails served here were fabulous as well. We will miss you Sage General Store, thanks for all the wonderful and delicious memories.
