What makes this place so unique and welcoming is the family tradition of running this place which is currently done so through three brothers. The two most popular items on the menu have been around for nearly five decades; Chipotle Pastrami Sandwiches and the Clam Chowder. What has made this place famous is that they are also only open for lunch during the week.. as they have kept to tradition and we appreciate that. So please be aware that their operating hours are Mondays through Fridays only from 11am to 3pm. As you can imagine, these are a busy and packed 4 hours, so prepare to wait (which is always worthwhile) if you arrive at busy times. Tons of great spots to eat when in Boston, but this one will surely top your Sandwich list if you're truly a foodie at heart. Portions here are huge and we're not exaggerating. You'll have a hard time finishing it on your own, but for the price you pay, each bite is worth every penny. Counter service style that is quick and efficient as they are a sandwich making wonderland, creating hundreds each day for hungry customers. Create your very own sandwich or go with any of their popular ones.. you really can't go wrong.
