At Tortilleria Nixtamal, they have unlimited varieties of tortillas that you can try out or instead consider alternatives such as the wonderful Tortas or the widely popular Tacos al Pastor. First and foremost, it's all about quality ingredients here so it's always encouraging to know that they produce 100% natural fresh Corn Tortillas without any GMO, additives or preservatives. This is a rare thing these days in the restaurant world - so we truly admire it and are proud to let you guys know about it. The initial mission of this spot was to bring to New York something that was lacking in the culinary scent, good Tortillas! And that is exactly what they achieved to do, as we've already stated the massive amounts produced, each day. Fernando Ruiz took his passion and love of Mexican traditional food and has made Tortilleria Nixtamal the amazing American success story we can share with you today. We also want to stress that they carry a full Mexican menu so you can order other favorites such as Tortilla Soup, Steak Quesadilla, Homemade Guacamole and plenty more. However, we do need to point out that we're hearing rumors that this spot may be closing down, so be sure to call ahead to ensure you get a spot before they do so.
