Watch episode 'Eating Up New Orleans' in season 29
Locations Guy Fieri visits in the USA - Places to eat comfort home-style, healthy, gourmet & fast food meals!
Christy and Justin Pitard started off as an offhand joke that they'd open up a restaurant, but soon a dare turned in to reality and with plenty of hard work, ambition and determination - Avery's was born. With their combined business and service industry skills, it became the perfect match and we're thankful for the results we see today. Just a few short years ago then in 2012, Avery’s Po-Boys was opened and has been a great local hit since. While the name has changed to what it is today, it remains the same so not to worry. You are always greeted with a smile and the welcoming atmosphere makes sets the tone for the great dining experience ahead. This place nails Cajun style dishes quite perfectly and there's never a complain when we eat here. Pricing is more than affordable and the portions are enough to take some home. Lots of great items to choose from such as Alligator, Seafood Gumbo, Fried Potato Salads and of course the many freshly prepared Po Boys sandwiches. Come alone, with friends or family.. it's truly a great spot for any occasion.
