A perfect blend of Texan and Mexican cuisine, this amazing cafe serves up the type of dishes you talk about days after you've had them. Their most popular items and Guy's personal favorite are the Brisket Tacos. But, don't hesitate to try their Mexican Chicken Stew or Sautéed Pork dishes as well. Simply a great assortment of traditionally made Tex-Mex homestyle dishes in the city of Dallas. This spot is without question a local landmark now, and anyone who's anyone in the area has been here. Over three decades of service, we're grateful for spots like this that truly put their customers first and foremost. Then, the food quality, freshness and overall experience is something big chain Mexican spots will never, ever match. Staples such as Mole, Pozole and of course the famed Brisket Tacos are worth the visit alone. Also, if you're not sure where to start and what to order, we suggest the timeless Avila Special which consists of three Chicken Enchiladas, all with uniquely different sauces to give you a full yet diverse experience.
