When in Bend, well this is the go-to spot for Pierogis done right. This popular food truck location has been serving it out authentically for many years and has received the praise and recognition they duly deserve. Owner Rich was born and raised in the USA but his parents are from Poland where the art of the Pierogis began. Growing up, he was taught the tradition of good Polish food and had decided to share this delicacy with the folks in Bend. The name 'Ski' comes from his nickname during his 20 years as a prison guard. But once Rich retired from that position, he moved his family to Oregon to take on this venture and make it the popular success it is today. Obviously, the Pierogis here are epic and the many variations are all brilliant. Perfect crispy interior with deliciously prepared interior, the perfect bite each time. You can order the sampler to try a bit of each or just go all in for your personal favorites. Some include their The O.G., Green Monstah, Bender, Pollo De Fuego, Cinder Coney, Bob Father, T-Rex, Chef's Special and many more to choose from. They also carry Kielbasa, Sautéed Onions on the side, Sour Cream for dipping, good choice of beverages and more. Excellent service and always freshly prepared to warm the soul. Great spot to visit and we highly recommend you visit.
