We truly love old-school and with this Latin based counter-serve restaurant in the heart of Pooler, it's always a pleasure to come dine here and to finally be able to recommend it to our fellow foodie lovers as well. If you've ever been on vacation to Puerto Rica, then you'll know how amazing their cuisine, flavors and overall menu is. Chazito's is one of our very favorite Puerto Rican spots to visit in the USA and we're certain you'll agree when you taste it for yourselves. Chaz Ortiz has a rich background as being part of a large ethnic Puerto Rican family, where gatherings always consisted of great delicious traditional foods. He wanted to share this with his community so starting off small selling out of a tent, he slowing evolved and expanded his menu to his Food Truck location at 217 US-80. We'll also mention that this spot is totally family run and owned by Chaz and Katherine, his wife. Since 2011, they have been around for over a decade serving out amazing dishes that continue to improve year over year. Some favorites found here include their unique Yucca Fries, Mofongo, Cuban Sandwiches, Arroz con Gandules, large variety of Empanadas, casa de Abuela and so much more. Be sure to take advantage of their outdoor seating as well. Fantastic spot.
