This place is truly terrific! We adore establishments that prepare comfort foods and serve them in a welcoming environment. This place really does know how to treat you like family and for those reasons you'll come back for more. Fantastic basics include Curry Chicken Burgers or the Quail & Eggs Breakfast that is as exotic and delicious as it sounds. A real American-style diner that is conquering the 21st century and we happily recommend it to you all. Plenty of fresh and almost always organic ingredients take it to the next level of dining. The homestyle menu will remind you of your childhood and many items have been twisted with a new slice. Also, remember that these folks have two locations in Austin, so it's easier to get what you love. The Counter Cafe in Texas is an inviting place with excellent service that is friendly and never ever rushed.
