Looking for authentic and affordable Craft Beers? Then this is definitely the place to check out when in Olympia. Doing it right since the early 90's, we really find this place to be a perfect combination of awesome dishes paired with the right drink. Especially when enjoyed on the patio on a warm sunny DC afternoon. So much to choose from on the evolving menu, but let's start with the Crab Cannelloni that have freshly caught Crab with Alaska bay Shrimps. In addition, the homemade Sausage Bangers with mouth-watering Mash is also killer and not to be passed up. We've explored many breweries which double as a restaurant and not many actually make our list - the Fish Tale Brew Pub however checks off all the right boxes and always get a strong approval rating from our team of expert foodies. The house-made Organic Beer here is also a hit and we strong recommend a pint or two. However, we have just found out that after 30 years of service, they will be closing their doors on Sunday, June 25th, 2023. Based on not being able to agree upon a lease renewal, they have decided to close the doors and mark then end of an amazing era. As they have posted online on social media, "..we are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this place and the history with it." We are grateful to have been able to have visited this microbrewery several times over the decades and can honestly say they will be missed. Get in while you can, and be part of history before the Fish Tale Brew Pub closes it's doors for the last time.
