One of the most visited BBQ themed diner in Illinois, they offer a unique blend of classic ingredients with genuine North-Carolina flavors to enjoy throughout their extensive menu. Regardless of what you may try at this place, be sure to sample the North Carolina-Style Pulled Pork before you leave as it's really one of the best BBQ items in recent memory. Not so many places that we've covered over the years have impressed us as much as this place has. It really takes the right combination of many factors to make a successful restaurant and these guys obviously have it. From the fresh ingredients and to the preparation of the food goes a long way, especially in the BBQ world. It's all about the juicy flavors, rich aroma and first bite experience. Prices here are more than fair considering the quality and care put in to each menu item. Portions are always more than enough and odds are you'll bring some home in a doggie bag. It's not that we don't think that there are many other worthwhile BBQ joints in Chicago, it's just that this one always comes to mind.
