When visiting Mission, this is one of the top places for BBQ - and in our opinion in the entire Nation. They are serious when it comes to traditional BBQ and the quality always speaks for itself. With decades of experience, the chef churns out Pulled Pork, Ribs, Chicken and the rest with perfection each day. One test we always like to play when trying out a new spot to eat at, especially a BBQ spot, is the scent of goodness before we even enter. With this place, we swear we were salivating before we were even seated. There was no way we were going to pass up the chance to try their menu. And of course, it didn't disappoint. We literally went through half the menu in our group, shared all the meals and had an amazing time. Portions here are very big, considering it's prime rate BBQ. The meat here is not overall fat and super juicy which is an art just on it's own to achieve. There is no question they have mastered the art here. Plenty of great in-house BBQ sauces to choose from as well.. we found them to all be quite good and paired well with the different types of meats. A very casual atmosphere and for a spot that has been for so long, it's become a local dining legend! You can dine in or take out if you wish.. the line up for carry out is always out the door.
