Lalibela Ethiopian is a humble yet incredible find in the city of Sioux Falls which makes the trip to South Dakota a worthwhile one for true foodies at heart. You will find all of the traditional and authentic style Ethiopian dishes here and for those whom have never ventured in this cuisine before, you will be amazed. Ethiopian cuisine is famous for using a variety of spices make their meals sour and chilly, slightly similar to Indian style dishes which also manipulate spices to enhance their foods. Portions here are more than generous and if you come with a friend or group, we encourage you to order several plates and share them all. This is the best way to truly get a sense of what the menu is all about while sampling a bit (or a lot) of everything. Many dishes here include the staple meats such as Lamb, Beef, Chicken and everything comes with a variety of vegetables prepared to perfection. You will also become quite familiar with their one and only Injera, which is essentially the Ethiopian Flat Bread. These folks have also been in service since 2003 and will shortly hit their second decade of successful service in the community. One thing you'll walk away with is the amazing service, foods full of flavor and a new found passion for Ethiopian cuisine.
