Something that makes this place so great is that you never know what's going to be on the menu, we're not kidding. In fact, each day you'll come across four different sandwiches, take it or leave it. On the day we most recently stopped by Meat and Bread in beautiful Vancouver, the special featured was their insanely delicious Porcheta Sandwich - made from scratch, to order, of course! As has been previously described by other reviewers, this spot is the standard for meat-centric sandwiches. Not just in the BC area, but across the world in our foodie experience. We love how each sandwich here, is carved-to-order - how amazing (and fresh) is that? With five amazing locations now spread across the land, it's now much easier to get what you love without travelling too far. Due to the high quality of the meats they offer, it really is as simple as requiring just meat and bread to make the perfect creation - just here of course. So many amazing rotating sandwiches here such as their Mac 'n Cheese Sandwich, famous Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, tasty Meatball Sandwich, Reuben Sandwich, Cha Siu Pork Sandwich, Cayenne Braised Beef Sandwich, Beef Bourguignon Sandwich or the all-time favorite Turducken Sandwich. We also appreciate the Craft Sodas offered here, yummy! Without question, this place is the absolute definition of Gourmet Sandwiches.
