As they say and we strongly agree, the best catch in Ottawa for the past 4 decades strong. Easily located roughly 10 minutes from downtown, there is plenty of parking and very easy to access. This market has the options to dine in or take out, we usually do a combination of both. In addition, they have adapted with the time and have a very convenient and easy to use online ordering system as well. Run by Marc Roy and Jim Foster, the original doors opened up in 1978. The current location has been around since 1985 and the addition of the restaurant grill a few years later in 1996. To this day, this spots if family operated and run and retains the core values and essentials which made it a success to begin with. They continually expand and improve the spot with the latest in 2016 which saw an increase in seating along with the seafood market. When you come here, you will get the freshest wild seafood available and only responsibly farmed fish. Seating is cozy and the service here is impeccable. We also appreciate the complimentary banana bread for every table, which is always fresh and homemade. The menu here is as good as it gets, for both the dining and take-away options. One of the best seafood markets in Ottawa.
