There really isn't anything much better in our experience, than authentic, homemade European meals! Exactly those that you'll find in this established cafe that has been serving millions of visitors throughout the years. When here, do consider the Hungarian-Style Pancakes or our personal favorite here, the Tangy Dill Pickle Soup. Pay a visit to Polish Village Cafe when in Hamtramck, it's worth the effort in our opinions. As they proudly claim, it's the place for the finest of foods, west of Warsaw, Poland. European food is quite distinct from your typical classic American fare.. and if you haven't had the pleasure to try then please do not delay. If you are familiar with Polish food, then this place is just like home for you, they get it right from the service to the food to the entire experience. While everything here is good, some standouts for us continue to be the made from scratch, old-world Pierogies, Stuffed Cabbage, Mushroom Soup, popular City Chicken Dinner, the Polish Platter for a little bit of everything to share and tons more. So much to be proud of here including the kind and warm service, free parking and the patio that is great in nice weather. Michigan has plenty of great choices when it comes to dining, however the Polish Village Cafe is always a favorite. Coming here is an escape to Poland itself so take your time, enjoy the environment and have a good time.
