It's all about authentic Cuban cuisine when you come here. Favorites such as their freshly prepared Ropa Vieja and the Arroz con Pollo dishes take you to Cuba in one quick scent. Rincon Criollo has been around since the mid-70's and continues to be a hit in the city of Corona-Queens. Family-run to this day, it's a place that hasn't changed much since they first open their doors so many decades ago - which is a good thing. They keep it old-school focusing on amazing service with handmade recipes that are fairly priced even in today's rates. It can be seen as a hole in the wall type of establishment, with delicious foods to choose from. If you are not familiar with Cuban food.. odds are you've had something in the US that is quite similar. It's the basics of meat and potatoes in essence but prepared with love and patience. Other nice choices here include their Black Bean Soup, Steak Sandwiches, Fried Green Plantains, Roasted Pork dishes and of course the one and only Cuban Sandwich with a side of drenched Fries.
