When in the beautiful city of Calgary up north in Canada, this is one of the best Mexican spots we've had the pleasure to dine at. Salt and Pepper opened up their doors to the public back in 1988 and have been a tremendous success for the locals and visitors ever since. With well over three decades of experience, they have mastered the art of Mexican dishes and continue to strive to be the best they can be. Trust us when we tell you that the cuisine here is 100% authentic with Mexican tradition, flavors, ingredients and presentation. It's the next best thing of going to Mexico itself. Interested family run spot that was founded by chef and owner Silvio Solano with his son Alex. Nothing beats an old-school family-run restaurant to get the warmest and kindest treatment with food that is made from scratch and prepared to order. Food here is excellent and truly there are many items to choose from. Plenty of good choices here such as their Corn Chips, Salsa & Escabeche, Bean and Cheese Mollete, Tequila Prawns, Quesadillas, Burrito Bowls, Chilaquiles Verdes, Roast Chicken Supreme with Mole Sauce or go all out with the Chef's Platter.
