Awesome pub that you really can't pass up on when visiting this state. What makes them stand out from the rest, we think, is their unique and delicious range of freshly made Burgers. They are specifically dipped in tempura batter and nestled gently between a pair of Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. Also try the Flying Monkey Chili if you want some of the best in Kansas City. Honestly folks, how can you not start to salivate after reading about these two examples.. it's really a dream come true for any true foodie such as ourselves. With unique burgers which also include great innovations such as the Suribachi Burger, Dead Texan Burger and more, it's always fun to crack open the menu and read up on all these creative options. Sure the basic Cheeseburger is always a winner, but when they spice it up with unique ingredients that one would never even conceive to add to a burger. We're glad these folks here have stepped up to the challenge and made Hamburgers fun again. But, it doesn't end there. Sandwiches, sides, drinks and desserts make up a menu that is to be made an example for other trying to keep up. Service here is great and a nice breath of fresh air to have service which truly understands beers and which pair well with certain types of foods. But, as sometimes occurs since our original travels to the best diners in the Nation.. this spot has also closed it's doors for the final time and is no longer in service. It will be missed and it has certainly left a massive void in the Kansas City dining scent. RIP!
