Born and raised in North Carolina, the Chef and owner has put his own spin on the traditional dishes you may be used to, or what he grew up with. We encourage change and improvement in the culinary sphere therefore that is exactly what you'll get when you try The Brine and Bottle favorites such as the Soft Shell Crab or Deep Friend Pickles to start. One of the top spots for casual Southern cuisine fare in Nags Head, they really hit it out of the park with not just the food but the selection of boutique Wines and local craft Beers. Plus, it's unlike most spots as they take it up a notch with their daily live music. However, it is with another sad heart that we have to share with our loyal readers that The Brine and Bottle location has permanently closed. According to the owners, back in late August of 2014 due to the loss of their lease they were forced to close the doors for good. This place truly was unmatched with service, ambience and quality all around top notch. Some other favorites here that we will miss include their Bacon Jams, Poached Grouper, Shrimp with Grits Southern style, Cheese plates, Grit Cakes and the Peach Cobblers for dessert.
