The category of blue plate specials is a small niche in the American culture yet so many diners have gotten it wrong, except for this one! This delightful hidden gem is a true treasure with popular items which include American dining classics such as homemade Corn Dogs and Fried Pickles! Again, one of our favorite types of restaurants - a no-frill joint that has more character than any other big chain eatery around. Opened up in 1954, they've been a place to grab some quick and delicious food for locals and tourist for five decades and counting. Located in a fun, eclectic neighborhood - sometimes it's fun to just people watch while dining. Now, we will say that if you like grease, then this place surely is for you. But trust us, it's well worth every bite. Sometimes you just need to let loose and let your taste buds run free. One of our favorite foods here to order is their Kitchen Sink burger - incredible! A true foodie lover hot spot, be sure to visit!
