Tupelo is perhaps the next best place to get your favorite New Orleans favorites outside of Louisiana itself. You'll really
escape within this amazing collection of Southern Comfort Foods to fulfill your every hunger needs, and more. We suggest
the Con fit Pork Belly Corn Dogs to get the thrill started or the Gumbo specialty. Not to forget, the Shrimp and Grit special
is always a hit and a daily top seller. BUT, as we have to from time to time report, this longtime Southern restaurant in
the heart of Inman Square closed it's doors to the public in 2018. Tupelo opened their doors back in 2009 by Renee McLeod
and Mike Walker and lasted for nearly a decade. This Boston spot was a favorite for locals and tourists and we will totally
miss it. Some of our other favorites here included their St Louis BBQ Ribs, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, traditional Homemade
Cornbread, Pickled Red Cabbage, Cajun Gumbo and for dessert their Brown Butter Pecan Pie which we never passed up on. RIP!
