In their very own words, Yonder is authentically about being the kitchen of southern delights. They've taken southern style classic cuisine and mashed it with the flavors and traditions of the Pacific Northwest. You'll love the dining room which has a cozy yet very inviting, relaxed atmosphere. They celebrate the joy of food, prepared fresh with local ingredients and of course, from scratch. We will get back to the dining, but we must also mention their great list of beverages which include cidars, a variety of wines and plenty of beers for you to explore. One of the faves here include the Chicken Bucket (which honestly blows the KFC alternative in our opinions). Aside from the perfectly crispy and juicy Fried Chicken here, there are more goodies which include their Burgers, warm Biscuits,the massive Hot Mess Breakfast, Grits, Coffee which is always on point and served hot, Catfish and plenty more folks. In essence, it's simply so much more than just good food at Yonder, but fun and unique options that will put a smile on your face. Dessert here is also a standout and some of the go-to picks include the Banana Pudding or even the Pounds Cake Waffles which are loaded with a Peaches and Buttermilk Whip. Friends, this is not a place to pass up when looking for Southern Food in the city of Portland.
