Such a wonderful find in the state of Alaska and easily a sure visit spot when travelling abroad in the USA. First and foremost, it all comes down the heart and passion of Konrad the German Chef who runs this spot. It's all about authentic German recipes that bring you the best of old world German food at it's finest. With a tad of Swiss influence, this food truck will surprise even the harshest of food critics. You will only experience hand-made recipes here which have been passed down for generations - it's truly as good as being in Germany itself. This mobile kitchen moves between two spots in Fairbanks so be sure to check them out at the HooDoo Brewing Company on Fridays and the Pleasant Valley/Two Rivers on Thursdays. There are two amazing specialties you can choose from here which are the handmade German pretzels and then the general German menu. Our two favorite pretzels here include the classic Bavarian pretzel and of course their Nutella pretzel. Then the other favorites here must be the Kase Spatzle, Currywurst, Schnitzel Sandwiches and finally their classic German Bratwurst. Konrad take his time and makes each dish from scratch - which is worth the wait and final splendor. Really, we wish he's spoil the rest of the USA with his skill, but for now you'll have to visit him on your next visit to Alaska.
