What will drag you in to this amazing diner is their world famous Johnny Cakes, which RI is actually known for right? But, they also make Home-Style Clam Chowder that will leave you ordering more for take-out. Or, simply try their Roasted Turkey Sandwich and wash it down with the Coffee Milk that is out of this world amazing. A typical, classic family-style diner that each town should have instead of the many fast food joints littering the streets. An American eatery which you can be proud to visit and spend your heard earned money on. Always a terrific value which includes freshly prepared homestyle meals with a style of service unmatched today. But, as we have to let everyone know.. this spot has since closed and is no longer in business. It was a shock to us the last time we made a visit, it broke our hearts. The staff here had a legacy of what they created and it was always a treat to experience. Portions were always very healthy and you'd never leave this place still hungry. No way. Desserts always prepared fresh and when they had pie, it went fast as it was to die for. So while this spot is no longer open for business, we still like to compare it to others for quality. Many other great spots in Rhode Island, but this will always stay true to our hearts. You will be missed, thanks for the great memories and full stomachs.
